Chapter 16: The New Beginning

As Uno spoke, Tangerine could feel the weight of the day beginning to lift from her shoulders. She looked into his eyes and saw the depth of his love and knew that no matter what, they would face whatever came their way together.

"Uno, I love you too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Uno reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "Tangerine, I know that this isn't the time or place that we had imagined, but I want to make things right. Will you marry me?"

Tangerine's eyes widened in surprise, and she gasped. "Uno, of course, I will marry you!" she said, tears of joy streaming down her face.

Uno slipped the ring onto Tangerine's finger, and they shared a kiss, feeling the warmth of the sun on their faces. As they turned to walk back to their coven, they knew that they had a new beginning together.
