Chapter 26: The Meeting

Achilles’ Point of View:

Reaching Tokyo happened faster than I had anticipated—and that might have something to do with the fact that I fell asleep for some 12 hours.

Anyway, the better part was that I’ll probably sleep again for two hours when I reach there to get freshened up and then I’ll be done with the meeting. I just couldn’t wait to get it over with. It has been some time since I’ve enjoyed life.

As the flight descended and then finally landed, I hurried out and grabbed my luggage, reaching out to my phone and calling for the cab to pick me up. Obviously, my father had already scheduled one to pick me up when I arrived—I only had to make a call.

I went over to the cab and sat down, and he took me to the hotel room: also pre-booked.

So after I was setted in my room, I took out my phone and saw a text from an unknown person.

“You’ll have to pay for what you’ve done. Soon, Achilles, soon.” ~ unknown.
