Adam wanted to leave that place which he is sure is not safe for them. But the apron of some unfortunate woman peeking from under the trunk of the van is raising a conflict between his sub conscience and his logical side. They were already hunted by Christian and his men like dogs. He is not an idiot. He can guess that Christian might have already found out that it's him who is taking Kelly away. Christian must have dug into Kelly's details and he must have already know that he is her boyfriend. It wouldn't take long for a man like Christian to match two and two together. So it's wise not to attract any sort of attention towards Kelly or himself. But he is reluctant to leave, especially after Kelly pointed out what that woman might face once she was taken inside that factory.
