Daniel let out a heavy sigh, his gaze fixed on Laura with a mischievous glint. "Well, lucky him," he muttered with a hint of frustration, "he'd better tread carefully to steer clear of trouble next time."

Laura shook her head and scoffed, realizing how useless it was to argue with Daniel; she couldn't stand looking at his arrogant face, Laura left the room and went into the sitting room to have a quiet moment.
