Chapter 7

Riya's pov:

"Riya..wake up Riya..you have to eat dinner." My mom's voice woke me up..

I woke up with a throbbing headache..I sat and started to massage my forehead..Seeing that my mom came and sat near me..She made me lie on her lap and started massaging . Tears rolled my cheeks involuntarily..I dont want to tell her anything and make her worry..kushi came to my room and seeing my state ,she hurried outside..She came back with headache relief balm..Moisture forming her eyes,she herself rubbed the balm gently on my forehead..

They are worried bcz im not the girl who cries often..Atleast not infront of them..I will always be strong in whatever situation until yesterday..I dont want to go there now...Let my headache reduce first...I dont want my head to burst..

My mom made me lie on sister's lap and went out to bring my dinner..She fed me herself .

"Take rest Riya dear..you'll be alright tomorrow." ,said my mom and went out with my sister.

Then kushi came back running towards me ,hugged me and gave a kiss ."Dont cry akka(sister). I'll pray to god for you.you'll be fine " said my little kushi..

"Hey kushi,as soon as your hands rubbed that balm,my pain is almost gone now..love you.." Saying that i hugged and kissed her cheeks.

"Goodnight sister.Take rest" saying that she went out.

I heard continuous notification tone from my mobile..I know who it would be...I took my mobile to see 48 missed calls and 65 messages all from the four numbers..

When i was about to open the messages,my mom came inside and informed me that i have guests.

I was surprised to see all four of them...

"What the f*** are you doing without answering our calls and msgs..You worried us Riya." ,said none other than Arohi

"language Arohi !! " Rithu warned her.

"Come in first all of you " i said and guided them to my room as we have no sofa in the hall.

They all settled in my bed and i sat in a chair..

"What would you all like to have?" I asked them.

"Nothing.only answers " ,they all said in unison.

Yet I served them all juice .while we are all drinking.

Rakesh : what the shit happened today.I dont understand anything.

Arohi: even me .why that hot specimen warned us all? Taking leave and going out isnt a crime.

Rahul: seriously Arohi? That CEO treated us like shit and you are calling him that..

Arohi: cant help it,he was really hot.🤐

Rakesh: leave her..why did he specifically warned you in the end,rahul ?

Rahul: Who knows ?!

Rakesh: But hes powerful and dangerous.

Rithu: yes.Its better not to get in his bad book.

Every information is increasing my head ache..But whys everyone is so afraid of him? .Is he that much powerful?.

Rahul: why did he ask you to stay Riya? What did he say? Why you left office as soon as you came out of his cabin?

Arohi: yes.i wanted to ask you that first.

Riya: "Nothing..he made me stand for 10 minutes and scolded for being irresponsible...as i was late yesterday too.". I lied to them..I know all problem is because of me..I dont want my friends to get into any trouble.. I will handle it by myself..

Rahul: Thats it? Then why did you left office suddenly ?

Riya: i had severe head ache..so i left without informing you all.sry..

Rahul: Dont ever repeat it Riya..You worried me a lot.

Arohi: Seems like someone is trying to score .

You idiot !!!Saying that Rahul slapped on Arohi's arm..In return ,she slapped straight in his face..ouch ! .Rahul stunned for a moment..you should see his face now...God !!! Its hilarious.

Coming out his shock,she started pulling Arohi's hair...she grabbed his hair too...God !! Then we jumped in their fight and stopped the fighting of two kindergarden kids ..

This is Arohi...she'll change any serious situation to this level of craziness..we all are laughing like maniacs now.

Rithu: Guys.lets leave..its 9.30 already..

(The one and only responsible girl of the gang said that .)

Rakesh: Yes. Take care Riya.we'll take our leave.

Arohi: Cant wait to meet u tomorrow darling, take care until then.

Riya : Sure Rakesh.

Me too darling...

All of you msg me once you reached your respective places.

"Sure mam" ,All said in unison and laughed.

"And guys,Thank you so much for checking on me...I cant believe we are friends only for two days..I feel like 2 decades already..Love you all", i said them from the bottom of my heart..

"We all love you babyy",said Arohi.

I smiled fondly at her and blew her a kiss..

She jumped and caught my kiss from the air..

"yeah!! Got it .This Rahul was ready to steal it" Said Arohi and earned a glare from Rahul.

"Call me or any one of us if you need to go to doctor or whatever.Take care Riya". said Rahul

"Rahul at your service,anytime" Rakesh mocked Rahul..

All of us except Rahul : 😂😂

Rithu: Guys,its enough for the day..Give that poor soul a break.

Rahul: Yes !! Please...🙁

Finally they all bid goodbye and started to leave..when they were settling in the car,my father returned home...Good thing,they all settled in and started to move.otherwise he would have created a scene infront of them.

Now,i should face all his dramas.Please God! Not today.

I entered inside after preparing myself.."Who are they? How dare you bring boys home? Who gave you permission? " my father questioned me non stop.

"This is your last warning, if you repeat one more time i'll push you out of the house"said my father

You pulled the wrong string father..What is this with everyone ordering me on my life.I cant take this shit any more.

"What did you just say? You will push out me out of the house..Really? Let me remind you something..I pay rent for my home,in which you live..Mom pays for the food,which you eat..I'm sure you dont have anyright over this house". I said..Waah Riya!! I mentally patted myself...Enough of his bullshits.. I've been tolerating his nonsense from the day i born..Not anymore father..

My mom and sister came running towards us hearing our voices..

"Is this the way to raise your daughter? How dare she talks to me like that? Its all because of you." ,saying that he raised his hand to beat my mom.

I pushed him with my full force."Dare not to touch my mom...Gone is your daughter who will stand far way and cry seeing her brainless father beating her mom.." Said I...

He's stunned.

Why will he not ? i never raised my voice infront of him.. Till i completed my college life, I obliged to his every stupid word..He started hearing my voice only after i found my job..Still he wouldn't have expected this much from me..Even i didn't..

"Enough of you bossing us around...You are the most irresponsible father and you had the nerve to order us all these days..If you want to live in MY house , you better behave yourself.",saying that i walked to my room leaving all three of them stunned.

That serves him right.Good job Riya..i appreciated myself.

Yes this is it...Its my life and no one can order me on that...i will do whatever pleases me...

I'll face that CEO tomorrow ..I'll say him that i cant accept any of his orders..He cant invade my privacy.He can question me anything on profession.But not on my personal life..I will knock some sense into his mind that im just his employee and he cant order me like that..The max he can do is dismiss me...I will go myself with my resignation letter..Incase if he ask me to leave the job,I'll throw the resignation letter straight on his face and walk out..

I have my savings now..I can manage for 6 more months...Within that,I will find myself another job..Thanks to my savings principle.

I dont want to be someone's slave for a job..Only now i started living my life..Only now i'm doing things which my heart desires and not what my father orders..I dont want history to repeat itself..

With my new found courage and determination I dozed off, all ready to meet the CEO tomorrow.

Next day.

I woke up to the buzzing sound of alarm..I took a long refreshing shower..A big day is ahead of me..Dont worry Riya.you can handle this .I encouraged myself..

I dressed myself well today ..I dont want to lose my confidence by anychance .Not that my confidence lies on the dress ..Still !

All ready.I left my room to meet mom and Kushi...Im sure kushi would have enjoyed last night's show...But im not sure about mom..Will she be upset on me?

When i went out there is no sign of my father.Good thing !! I searched for my mom and found her in the kitchen.

"Mom!" I called her.

"Riya..How's your headache now?" enquired mom..Good god..She's not upset on me..

"I'm alright now mom.are you upset on me?" 

"You know what Riya...your father has went searching for a job now..I didnt know your words and one push can make him go for a job ..Otherwise I would have pushed him on the day 1 of my marriage and our lives would have become a lot better" ..she saying that we both started laughing..

I had my breakfast then and headed out ...I made sure to take print of my resignation letter on the way...Thats it Riya!! U can do it !!! I chanted this single line the whole time in my mind...

I entered my office and went straight to the 20th floor..

"Hai ! Good morning liya !" I greeted the PA .

"Hello Riya.Good morning.Are you ok now" she asked.

"Better than ever before.thanks for asking .I want to meet the CEO".

She gave me an unpredictable look and said,"Let me inform him and return to you".

I nodded my head and waited...

Dont get nervous Riya!! Never ever stutter.Hes just your boss..you can handle him..Worst case scenerio is you'll lose your job and you're more than ready for it . So be bold and face that man.I motivated myself..

When i was busy motivating me,"you are called in Riya" said Liya.

Thats it.. Be confident ..Go and rock girl!!! My inner self wished me luck.

Gathering all my strength,courage ,determination and what not !! I knocked on the newly fixed door..

Man ! Thats one bold move of Riya.

She handled her father so well ..But he is harmless ..She's now going to deal with the most dangerous and powerful creature ..

Is akshay capable of only dismissing her ? Did she underestimated Akshay a little too much? Or will everything go with Riya's plan?
