At his words, I narrowed my eyes, thinking of the best possible way to reply to him.

"Just apologize to him for leaving, Athena," Elsa urged.

My brown eyes met his blue ones, the cold and merciless look in his eyes igniting some kind of feeling in me: anger.

Why was he so riled up just because I left the mansion? I folded my arms defiantly across my chest and arched a brow stubbornly. "I was tired of staying in the mansion, and I needed some fresh air."

"You left the mansion even after I told you how dangerous it was for you to stay away from my sight?" he barked, his tone frostier than snow.

I rolled my eyes, already becoming tired of the tantrum he was throwing. "I can take care of myself, Richard."
