Chapter Ninety Three

Crimson flames ran wild, snaking their way through the underbrush and engulfing the forest around me. Violence was bursting behind every tree and rock. Gnashing of teeth and swiping of paws was everywhere. At any moment, you could be attacked. It was kill or be killed; no one was safe. It was a sinister sight, to say the least.

Iris and Damian were a hundred feet away. Both of them were in fine form underneath the moonlight.

Damian was almost glued to his sister’s side. After she was taken, something changed inside of him. He never gave off the protective brother vibe before but now touch his sister, and you had to die.

Iris seemed to be channeling every emotion that had been haunting her in the fight. She was taking every drop of pain, misery, fear, and resentment out on any wolf that crossed her path. She wanted to make them feel everything that Kroll caused her to go through. None of them would come out of this unscathed.

I love this book, but your chapters are to short. I want to be swept up in the story, but with the chapters ending so fast, I kind of loose it.
