CHAPTER 93.Author's POV.Eva quickly put on the lamp and turned to see Alpha Trent seated on the couch opposite the bed. The couch was placed there for a hilarious reason, which was during the times they fight and need some space, either of them could stay there and avoid the other partner without arousing any suspicion or third-party involvement.Anyway, that was the last thing on Eva's mind. CHAPTER 94.Author's POV. They entered the cabin with smiles on their faces. The lights weren't on when they stepped in. “Why is it so dark in here?” Eva asked, she wasn't using her werewolf eyes. “We do this to avoid anyone noticing that someone lives here, it might be an unknown place to many; however, that won't matter if someone discovers we live in here” Alpha Trent replied with a smile. “That makes a lot of sense, I doubt if you really loved this place” Eva chuckled lightly and licked her dry lips. CHAPTER 95.Author's POV. After responding and bowing their heads in respect, they exited the pack house one after the other. Natalia averted bumping into them as she walked in, she was quite surprised to see Dylan awake, and she also wondered what these men had come for. Natalia swallowed hard and walked to him. He stared at her with those calculative eyes of his, obviously questioning her. “What were they here for?” Natalia questioned first to avoid him asking her about her whereabouts. Dylan thought of concealing it from her, but they were partners, and he knew that Natalia would never betray him, or so he thought. Dylan snorted. “Beta Kyle's disappearance is fishy, I didn't orchestrate it, neither did the elders; therefore he must be somewhere hiding” Natalia was stunned to learn that he was searching for Beta Kyle. The strange scent confused them, it made the scent of Beta Kyle slowly disappear. “Let's go there, be ready for anything that tries attacking you, and never relent when retaliating. They reached the door and instead of barging in, the first one in his human form knocked on the door.At the third knock, the door opened and it revealed an old woman.The woman wasn't petrified to see wolves in front of her door and these strange men because she had been prepared for such an occurrence. They pleaded for a second chance, but Dylan never gave second chances. He only promised that their families would be spared but who could trust words from a lying demon like him?. They went to print out an image which was recovered by Dylan, and they shared it among the people. Seeing so much money attached to it, people became greedy and more alert for Beta Kyle's location. CHAPTER 98Author's POV. Alpha Trent's eyes bulged as he heard his name from Dylan. He practically couldn't move for a minute, and even held his breath. “Trent, you're alive” Dylan said, there was surprise and anger in his voice. Doctor Romeo returned in time to salvage the situation, he heard Dylan's voice with his werewolf senses and had to snatch the telephone from Alpha Trent and speak. “I'm sorry for calling late, but I need to contact Natalia,” Doctor Romeo said in a similar voice to Alpha Trent. CHAPTER 99.Author's POV. “Eva” Alpha Trent called, he became alert and his senses more awakened than ever. “Hm” “Someone followed you here” Alpha Trent said, and he suddenly grasped Eva's waist and dodged the unexpected attack of an Ash coloured wolf. Alpha Trent and Eva rolled on the floor. They looked at the wolf and Alpha Trent recognized it, as Dylan's. He was present when Dylan had his first shift, and that was the exact colour of his wolf. Alpha Trent was glad that the truth was out and he finally had Dylan where they wanted him. This wasn't his plan but, like he wanted; he was trapped without anyone to fight for him or defend him. CHAPTER 100.Author's POV. The blood stained knife dropped from his hand and he stared at her bleeding corpse on the floor. He discovered that he had betrayed him the instant he saw Alpha Trent in Doctor Romeo's house. He didn't need a soothsayer to tell him the truth that was right in his face all along. Not only that, but he thought the woman loved him, she was the only one who showed him affection and supported him, but she joined those traitors. She deserved the same ending as them. A tragic ending for all those who had hurt him. Her end was unavoidable. Dylan inhaled deeply and gasped a little, he shouldn't regret killing her. He would rather focus on destroying the rest of his foes. It was late at night but all the warriors were on their toes, the minute he stepped out of the room, they approached him and heavily guarded him.
