Chapter 28 Battles

Jane and I gave a wonderful performance, the audience have agreed that this was the best battles performances this season.

"Wow! Wow! Wow! Katie and Jane! You are so great, I hope this round will have a steal deal! What a performance guys!" Quen said and came closer to me.

"Jane, what can you say about your fans?" Quen asked Jane.

"I just wanna say thank you to all of them for coming here, I really appreciate them." That was a short but sweet message.

"How about you Katie?" He asked.

"Uhm, I just want to tell them that I also appreciate them, I love them and thank you for all of there support." I smiled.

"And now, you're done thanking your fandoms, let's go to the coaches." Quen said.

"Sha, could you choose Jane? So that I can steal Katie from you, please." Coach Lani said and I just laughed, Jane was also laughing.

"Coach Sha, please. So that we can get Katie from you." Coach Xiah said.

"Hey, could you please stop, let's start our comments." The man said.

"Okay. First of all, I want to congratulate the two of you for giving us a nerverocking performance, that was so good! Sha, what did you do with this two? Can you please teach me too, because they are superb." Coach Liam said, he's the man that I am referring to before, I was just not really familiar with his name.

"I didn't teach them a lot Liam, they learn it on their own." Coach Sha proudly said.

"Wow. So my decision for this battle was... Katie." Coach Liam said.

"Coach Lani?" Quen said.

"I really have nothing to say, but one of you needs to be on my team, no one will go home. In this battle I'm choosing, Jane." Coach Lani said.

"Coach Xiah?" Quen said.

"What am I going to say? They already said everything. Down to my decision, it's Katie." I smiled.

"The most important decision in this battle will came from your coach Sha. Coach Sha." Quen said.

"Congratulations my pretty Babes! You are now done with the battles, how I want to chose both of you, but I can't. I know that the coaches are waiting for me to pick one of you so they can do the steal deal." Coach Sha said.

"Woohh! God, help me! This is a very hard decision for me." Jane and I are both crying.

"In this battle, I'll pick... Enrique!" The tension was lessen but Coach Sha speaked again.

"In this battle, I'll still choose my Baby Katie." Mama Sha run at the stage and hugged Jane, she congratulated me as well.

"You won the battle sweetheart." Mama Sha hugged me. I was the one who first ran at the backstage, I was still hearing them.

"Now, coaches. Jane is up for steal!" Quen exclaimed but no one was pressing their buttons.

"Sorry Jane, you've been elimated from the competi—." Quen didn't continue his words because the three coaches press their buttons, that was so cool!

"Jane! The coaches, turned for you again, the decision is now yours again." Quen said.

"This coach didn't turned for me on the blink audition. Well, only coach Sha turned for me. All of you didn't, but I really love this coach, she's my idol. Coach Xiah." The crowd clapped for her.

As I was walking alone on the backstage, I just felt sad because no one is waiting for me not like the other contestants that the family was full support of them, I know that Mom and Dad supports me but the feeling is different if they are already here.

"Katie! Congratulations, my Love." It was a familiar voice. It's commerical gap.

"Thank you." I replied coldly and I walked away, I don't want to hear anything from him.

"Hey Monique, I just wanna get Kiko and leave already. I felt tired about my battles performance." I said and get my dog, I'm bringing him to the management, I don't Alex wasn't there anymore this time, I wanna apologize to my manager.

"Sure, Katie." She smiled.

When we get out of the studio, I called Yanna.

"Yanna, are you still on the management office?" I asked.

"Yes, why? Are you coming here?" She asked.

"Yes, if Alex wasn't there anymore." I said and she laughed.

"Yes, Alex wasn't here anymore. See you, my Love." I smiled because of her sweet nickname for me.

"Kiko, Mommy won the battles." I said to my dog before finding a taxi. It only takes 10 minutes to be in the office.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am Katie!" The staff greeted me. After a while, I saw Yanna.

"Yanna, I won." I said.

"Whaaaattt? I am so proud of you Katie." She hugged me, I stopped her before I saw Mr. Emmanuel.

"Yanna, I'll came back after a while. Mr. Emman and I are just going to talk some minor problems." I said and get inside of Mr. Emman's office, he's not talking with me.

"Sir." I whispered.

"Yes? What can I do for you?" He replied.

"I wanna apologize to you, about my behavior last time." I said and he looked at me.

"Oh, about that. It's okay Katie, you finally apologize, but don't ever do that again. I'm doing this because you're an asset of this management, if you are an other artist, I don't know, maybe you're now kicked out." Mr. Emmanuel said.

"So, are we now okay Sir?" I asked, it's just for assurance.

"Yeah, get out of my office because I know Yanna was waiting for you." He said and I saw Yanna on the door. I just smiled.

"Friend." I said.

"What happened Katie? Are you know okay? What are you going to do next? Find a talent management again?" She asked concernly.

"I am not going to find talent management because Sir Emman and I are now okay, he just say get out because he saw you waiting for me here." I said.

"Oh, well. That's good! At least."
