Chapter 8 Introduction Of Her Fake Boyfriend

"Hi Mom, hi Dad." I greeted my parents when I got home, Gabrielle and Enrique are with me.

"Oh Katie, you're here." Mommy happily said while I'm holding Enrique's hands.

"Hi Tito, Hi Tita." They said.

"Enrique, you're so handsome now compared before." Mommy playfully said and laugh.

"Of course Tita, I'm getting handsome and handsome every year." Enrique proudly said.

"Oum, Mom, Dad, Kuya." I call then one by one.

"Yes?" They responded.

"This is Enrique, my boyfriend." I said then all of them was shocked.

"For real?" Mommy asked.

"What about the news, about you dating with Nicko Balbuena?" Mommy added.

"The rumors are not true, the true is Enrique and I have a relationship for over 3 months." I said, I was so nervous on this idea of introducing Enrique as my fake boy friend.

"Is this serious?" Daddy asked.

"Yeah Katie, I was wondering if this is serious, I know you're good at pranking us." Mommy said.

"Yeah Mom, Dad, this is serious." I said.

"Quen just don't forget, never hurt our daughter or else, you know what I can do to you." Daddy said and Enrique nodded.

"Yes Tito, I know, I'm not going to hurt Katie." Quen said.

"Okay, so you have our blessings." Daddy said, Quen and I smiled before mommy lead us into the kitchen.

"Katie... Quen, what's this?" Gabrielle asked.

"We need to control the rumors." I said.

"That's uncontrollable right now Katie... You admit it right?" She asked again.

"I know but it can't be controlled when they saw me with Enrique always." I said.

"Yeah but are you ready to face all the bashing to you? There are many people would say Katie Romero is 'that' girl. You know what I'm talking about friend." She said.

"Yuh I know, but I rather choose to be linked to Enrique than Nicko." I know Enrique for how many years than Nicko, I think that's enough reason for me to choose him.

"Tell me Katie, do you like Enrique?" Gabrielle asked.

"Way back 2009, yeah but now, I don't like him, that's only a crush." I said.

"Don't get me wrong friend, I'm just concerned about you." She said then my elder brother come near as.

"Yah! What can I do for you Sir?" Gabrielle asked back my brother.

"Don't call me Sir please, I'm just 2 years older than you." Kuya said and then chuckled.

"Okay, so what can I do for you?" Gabrielle asked again.

"Nothing. I called you because you are just cute." Kuya said and then go away. Ooohh! I smell something fishy!

"What's his problem?" Gabby irritatedly asked.

"HAHAHA!" I laughed hard.

"He's always like that Gabby HAHA!" I know Kuya just hide and he's secretly watching us.

"Tell him that don't play with me okay?" Gabby stand up and go to my Mom.

"Tita, I'm Gabrielle, Katie's new friend." I heard her introduced herself.

"Yah! I know you. Katie's always telling us a lot of stories about your friendship." Mommy gladly said.

"Really Tita? Did she told you a lot of our arguments? HAHAHA!" We always argue because I don't follow her advice. I'm hard headed!

"Katie, Gabrielle, you look like twins. You're both funny." Mommy said.

"So can I call you Mom right now Tita?" Gabrielle quickly asked.

"Of course, I would be very glad, welcome to the family Gabrielle." Mommy hugged Gabby again.

"Welcome to the family our youngest." Daddy said so I laughed.

"Were finally sisters now Gabby." I said.

"Yeah, I can finally hit you! Waaaahh!" She shouted and ran, Mommy can't breathe easily because she was laughing.

"Enough sweeties, have some food Darlings." Mommy said and pointed her fingers on the food in the table.

"It's so yummy Mommy." Gabrielle said.

"The foods you cook Mom are totally delicious." I said while eating.

"But I will not eat that much, I need to maintain this figure, I can't wait. The play will be on Friday." I said.

"We're so excited Mom to present to you the Aleiahe and Alleana Musical." Gabrielle said.

"We're feeling the same Gabrielle. I'm also so excited." Mommy said and kuya sat in the middle of me and Gab.

"Tita! Look! Your eldest is bullying me again!" Gabrielle irritatedly said.

"Kuya... Stop." Daddy said so Kuya gets quiet.

After we eat, we decided to watch a movie, when it's getting late. Mom told me to ask Gabrielle if she wanna sleep here.

"Gabby, you wanna sleep with me?" I asked her.

"How I want to but I have plans tomorrow." She said.

"I think I need to go now Kate... Mommy.... I'm going home already." She said and kissed the cheeks of my Mom.

"You're going home already? I'm going home too." Quen said and he stand up.

"See you tomorrow babe." He said and hugged me. Oh my gosh! I'm blushing!

"See you." I responded before they leave. When I feel sleepy, I ran into my room and hugged a pillow.

I keep on questioning my self, why do I need to feel this to Enrique?

Do I still have a feelings for him even though many years passed by?

I don't know.

"Happy Morning! Happy Day!" I immediately get up into my bed and kiss my little Kiko, I woke up that's he was beside me.

"Good morning guys." I kiss all of the people in this house before I leave, I know that they was wondering about my actions today. I'm not like this before.

"Babe." I was shocked when Enrique was inside my car.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I want to take you in the hall." He said and then smiled.

"Thank you. I will tell my manager that you didn't allow me to pretend as Nicko's girlfriend." I said then he faced me.

"Yes. Please. And if they insist, just call me, I'll be there okay?" He really feels that even though I'm the rising star of the theatre industry, I'm still afraid of my managers.

"Thank you for always taking good care of me in this industry." I said.

"Anything for you Katie... I am your best friend." He said.

That 'best friend' word hit me, don't tell me self that you don't want to be just friends with Enrique? It can't be! If your relationship didn't work! All of our 9 precious years together as a friends will be wasted.

"I wouldn't be here if you're not with me." I said.

"No, you still would be here because you have the talent, you have the perseverance. You have everything Katie." He said.

"But I wasn't lucky with my managers." I said then bowed my head.

"So do you want to be part of the management that I'm in? He asked.

"Can I?" I asked.
