Chapter twenty seven

After a long night's sleep, Cassandra was feeling very anxious because she had to go and tell Eloise what had transpired the night before with Nicholas. She had not heard back from Eloise yet, but it was still a bit early. With a sigh, Cassandra got up, showered, and dressed. While hoping for a return phone call, she headed to the fridge and grabbed a piece of leftover pizza. By the time Cassandra finished her three slices of pizza, rather slowly, an hour had passed, and still no phone call from Eloise. What could be keeping her? Surely she should be up and about by now.
