The day for the trip was coming closer and closer. Ava liked referring to it as a trip instead of an escape because that was actually what it was.

She had volunteered to put everything together and Ethan was to deal with all the other technicalities. She frequently visited the shopping malls to stuck up on whatever they needed for the duration of their stay

As Ava was shopping for supplies for the trip, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What if something went wrong? What if she forgot something important?
