Chapter 42

The preparations continued and on the morning of the day before Ava and Ethan's trip. Ava, who had spent the night at Ethan's place woke up very early and made sure everything was ready.

She double checked and made certain that the suitcases were all packed, the tickets were printed, and everything on her end was ready to go. Once she had checked off everything on her list, she went into the bedroom and got herself ready to head to her Aunt Caroline's house, which was were the kids were.

Ethan was still fast asleep and she was quiet in getting ready because she didn't want to wake him up and start to explain where she was going do early in the morning.

She just wanted to slip out and go and answer to all his questions later because somehow lying to him after she had done something was easier than lying when she was yet to do it.

She hurried up and finished getting ready and slipped out of the house quietly and drove to her aunt's house.
