Chapter Sixty Four

Marco’s POV

As I fell asleep, my tired mind played tricks on me, taking me into a disturbing place filled with guilt and suffering. I saw vivid and scary images, like my worst nightmares coming true.

In this dark place, I saw the ghostly figures of my friends who had died. They looked pained and angry, blaming me for what happened to them. Their breathing was labored, and their cries of pain hurt me deeply. Their voices accused me of being responsible for their deaths.

Their accusations haunted me, and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with guilt. I reached out to touch them, wanting to apologize and comfort them, but I couldn't touch them. It made me feel helpless and empty.

"Why, Marco? Why did you lead us into this deathtrap?" one of them gasped, his voice filled with agony. "We trusted you, and you led us to our doom."
