Chapter Thirty-Two

Marco’s POV

As I gathered my bearings in the dimly lit room, a sense of foreboding gripped my heart. The surroundings had transformed from the familiar space I had known before. The walls that were once adorned with ancestral symbols and ancient tapestries were now stained with blood, stretching and contorting in grotesque shapes that seemed to writhe with malevolence. The air crackled with an aura of pure evil, causing a shiver to run down my spine.

"What is this place?" I muttered to myself, my voice barely audible amidst the eerie silence. Fear and confusion intertwined within me, but I knew I had to stay vigilant. There was a reason I had been brought here, a purpose yet to be unveiled.
