CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

NATALIE'S POV

"I did," I answered as i stepped forward. Ace grit his teeth then grabbed my hand and dragged my to the room. Or at least that was where I hoped he was taking me to. His grip on my arm kept tightening and at a point, it was so tight I had to let out a cry.

"Ace, let go. You're hurting me!" I cried out as I used my free hand to try and remove his from my hand. His grip only got tighter and I feared he'd break my bones. Amidst my protests and whimpers, I didn't realize he had dragged me past the room and into another room outside the house. It was dark out and if not for the soft glow of the lamps around that illuminated the surroundings, I wouldn't be able to see anything. Yes, my eyesight was that bad. Even as a wolf.

"W-What are we doing here, Ace?" I stammered out. He pushed me to the ground and immediately I fell, he left the room. Seconds later, a big black Labrador was brought into the room and it had chains around it's neck. I flinched back when he came closer
