CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

NATALIE

"Wake up," someone said sinisterly, close to my ears. They stood up and the next thing I felt was electricity jolting through me from my thigh. My eyes snapped open and the first thing I saw was a taser. I raised my head to look at the person.

"Georgina," I muttered. She was smirking at me and holding the taser in her hand.

"You're finally awake. I never knew you were such a deep sleeper, Natalie," she giggled.

"Where is everyone? What have you done to them?" I asked, struggling to free my hands from the rope binding them together.

"They're in the next room. Shall we go to them?," she asked. She pointed at a shadowhound in the corner and it immediately came to her side. "Take her and follow me," she ordered. My eyes widened as I struggled to free myself. If that thing touched me I'd be gone.
