CHAPTER FOUR

NATALIE'S POV

I walked out of the room with Amelia and Chloe at my side. We stepped into the hall and immediately, everyone's eyes focused on us—me, specifically. I heard gasps from the audience and my mother's eys widened as she stared at me.

Raising my head high, I placed my hand in my father's and he began taking me to where my future husband would be.

"What are you wearing, Natalie?" my dad asked, harshly.

"A wedding dress, of course."

"This is not what your mother bought for you!" he said. I closed my eyes then opened them again.

"Yes, this is what I wanted to wear. Can you please keep quiet now? I'm having a headache," I told my father. I could feel the anger emitting from him and I smirked. As we neared my husband to be, I could feel his eyes on me. Scanning me. And every single place his eyes touched felt as if they were on fire.

My father handed me over to Ace. I stood before him and refused to meet his eyes even though I knew he was staring at me.

"Can you stop staring at me? It's making me uncomfortable," I said after a while. Ace chuckled lowly then tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Well, gattina, I have to give people the impression that I'm enamored with you. We can't have them thinking this marriage is a sham," he replied. I scowled then glared at him.

"But that is exactly what it is, Alpha Ace. And also, with the way you're going, I'm starting to think you actually fancy me!" I replied him, smugly. Ace stifled a laughter then in a mocking tone, he said

"Believe me, gattina, I'm not. I've been with far prettier and more experienced women and I haven't fallen in love. What makes you think you have the power to make me fall in love with you? Snap out of your daydream, gattina."

I scoffed but didn't reply him.

" Do you, Natalie Robbie, agree to this union with Ace DeLuca?"

I kept quiet for a moment. All eyes on me. I chewed the sides of my mouth and replied,"I do."

"Do you, Ace DeLuca, agree to this union with Natalie Robbie?"

"I do."

"Is there anyone here who objects?" the priest asked. Everyone kept quiet and he proclaimed, "Then I proclaim you both husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," then Ace's lips descended onto mine in a demanding kiss. I didn't know when I slipped my hands around his neck and kissed him back with the same energy.

"Well, you two should save it now. Wait till you get a room," a soft female voice giggled out. I quickly pulled away from Ace as a blush stained my cheeks.

"W-What?" I asked, patting my cheeks then bringing my bouquet of flowers to my face so I could hide my blush. I stared t the woman and she wasn't someone I recognized. "Who are you?" I asked the heavily pregnant woman before us. Come to think of it, she and Ace shared a resemblance. Could she be-

"I'm Ace's sister. And don't worry, Natalie, I'll pretend as if I didn't see what just happened," she replied, winking at me. I kept my eyes trained on his sister so I would avoid looking at him and letting him see my blush.

"Oh," I muttered. I felt Ace shift behind me and immediately come to stand at my side, placing his hand on the small of my back.

"Sophia, shut up. You're embarrassing my wife," Ace grunted. At this point, I was redder than a tomato. Sophia laughed and punched Ace on the arm.

"Possessive, are we?" she joked. She glanced at her watch then looked back at him, "Well, it's time we leave. We have things to get back to,"

"Alright, Natalia, say your goodbyes then meet us outside," Ace said, retracting his arm back and shoving it in his pocket. Sophia winked at me then left with her brother.

"I really can't believe you're moving to another country!" Chloe said, jumping on me. I smiled sadly as I hugged her.

"I can't believe it too. I wonder how you guys would hold up without me. We all knew I was the glue that kept us together," I joked. Amelia rolled her eyes.

"You haven't thrown your flowers yet. Throw it. Let's see who gets married next," Chloe said going to stand behind me. I grinned.

"Oh, Jared, come here, you're partaking in this too. I'm pretty sure you've kept your mate waiting for too long, yeah?" I said. Jared had found his mate two years ago and they hadn't gotten married yet.

"Isn't this a girls thing? Shouldn't Rachel be the one doing this?" Jared scoffed.

"Well then, it's a good thing she's here," Rachel said, making her way to us. She hugged me then pulled away, congratulating me on my marriage. If only she knew.

"Alright, on one, two, three, throw!" I yelled as I threw the bouquet of flowers. I turned around expecting to see one of them with it but I had thrown it too far and it landed on the floor.

"Well, I guess the floor is getting married next!" Rachel said, laughing.

"Yeah, seeing as weddings happen here every damn day," we giggled. I hugged all of them goodbye and they began escorting me out the hall. On our way, I passed by my parents who only nodded at me in form of goodbye. I rolled my eyes at them then walked on to meet Ace.

"Let's go," I said, stalking off to the car. I was about to enter when I heard someone yell my name.

"Natty!" she called. I glanced at the person and growled. Fucking Emily. I looked at Ace and was about to tell him to get inside the car but Emily reached before then. She pulled me into a hug and I gagged at her overuse of perfume.

"Oh my, it's going to be so hard to see my little sister go," she said, faking a cry. I pushed her away and smiled.

"It won't be sad on this end. May I get you a bucket to store all your tears?" I asked her. She chuckled forcibly and I rolled my eyes. I could see Chloe, Amelia and Jared looking at me with questioning eyes but I dismissed them.

"Oh, Natty," how much I hated that name! "always with the sarcastic jokes! Oh my, is this your husband, Ace?" she asked, giggling and batting her fake eyelashes at him. I gagged again—the 18th time in five minutes.

"Yes, he is." I replied. She was about to touch him when I grabbed her finger and smiled, "Sorry, dear Emily, we're in a rush and you're just wasting our time. Bye!" I said then pushed Ace into the car and hurriedly climbed in next to him.

"Is that your sister?" he asked

"Unfortunately," I grumbled out. He chuckled.

"Thank God, I didn't marry her," he said. I smiled too and looked out the windows. I felt his hand rest on my thigh and I pushed it away.

"Say, Natalie, this wasn't the dress I had told your mother to give you," he said, mockingly. I shuddered. It was him that sent the dress?

"Yes, that was too traditional. I wanted to stand out."

"And you did. You stood out exceptionally well. I'm very pleased to say I prefer this dress on you. And it would be very sad when I rip it off you," he said, quickly lifting me and making me sit on his lap. I gasped in shock at the signature smirk he wore.

"What are you doing?" I asked, breathlessly.

"Having fun with my wife, what else?" Ace replied. I sucked in a breath when I felt his hand slide inside the fabric of my dress and rest on my thigh. He rubbed the circles on the inside of my thigh and I could feel myself getting aroused. I placed my hands on his chest as I tried to steady myself. Ace grabbed my thighs and pulled me closer to him as she attacked my chest. His lips kissed and sucked on the area and I couldn't help releasing a moan.

"Ace?" I called.

"What, gattina?"

"Can you do me a favor?"
