NATALIE'S POV "Stop staring at me, Natalie. And wipe the side of your mouth. They're still waiting for your greeting," Ace whispered to my ear, a smug smile playing on his lips. I cleared my throat and wiped my hands across my lips, hoping to wipe off some drool but there was nothing there. I pinched Ace's arm then turned back to the wolves. "Thank you. NATALIE'S POV "Ace, come bake with me," I told him as I snacked on the chocolate in my hand. Ace raised his head from his laptop and glanced lazily at me. Ace threw me a nonchalant glance then shrugged, facing his screen. I sighed and went to stand in front of him. "I am so not feeling this. People are meant to relax on weekends. NATALIE'S POV "Is this like a bad habit I don't know about or what?" I asked as I glared at the paper crumpled up in my hand. Shrugging, Ace strode to the bed and sat on it. "I'm pretty sure I remember seeing this exact card on your desk but I didn't have the time to check it out. You really do enjoy seeing me run about like a mad woman, don't you?" NATALIE'S POV "I know you did this to me," I told him then pointed at my green face. I had run out of the bathroom and to the kitchen where everyone was at the moment just to meet Ace. The rest of them were trying to stifle their laughter and I glared at them. "Charming Natalie DeLuca? More like charming Natalie DeAlien," Ava taunted, laughing. Ace and the rest burst out into laughter and if not for my face being green, I would have blushed! "Ace, what have you done?" Sophia asked, wheezing. Ace cleared his throat and glanced at me, the amusement clearly written all over his face. "I just wanted to offer you people free comedy," he said. "At my expense?" "Of course! NATALIE'S POV "I did," I answered as i stepped forward. Ace grit his teeth then grabbed my hand and dragged my to the room. Or at least that was where I hoped he was taking me to. His grip on my arm kept tightening and at a point, it was so tight I had to let out a cry. "Ace, let go. You're hurting me!" I cried out as I used my free hand to try and remove his from my hand. His grip only got tighter and I feared he'd break my bones. Amidst my protests and whimpers, I didn't realize he had dragged me past the room and into another room outside the house. NATALIE'S POV My eyes felt heavy as I tried to force them open. My head ached with a vengeance and my body hurt if I even tried to move. I could hear someone shouting but it sounded distant and if I listened closer, the voice would sound nearer. "Where were all of you when this happened? How did they get in? Pray that she wakes up else this would be the last time you see the light of day," the voice kept yelling. It uttered all sorts of profanities but two things caught my attention, who was the she being talked about and why would they kill for her?
