NATALIE'S POV "Your husband hasn't been back in days and you're not worried, Mrs DeLuca?" Sophia taunted. I rolled my eyes as I stir fried the food on the cooker. "He was your brother before he became my husband, was he not? Shouldn't I be asking you that question?" I retorted. "Oh no, Mrs DeLuca, I talk to him every day. But I know you haven't even sent him a single message, yes or yes?" Sophia replied, lifting her eyebrows in a teasing manner. The tips of my ears turned red and I didn't reply her. "Git you there, didn't I?" she joked, coming closer. "You did," I said, laughing lightly. "And please, don't call me Mrs DeLuca, it's already torture that I'm married," I added, shuddering. Sophia laughed then inhaled comically. "God, I smell something that has to do with chicken," she said as her eyes roamed the food I was currently placing on the table. "Damn, I'm holding my compliment until I taste it," she said, sitting down and rubbing her hands together.

NATALIE'S POV Immediately I placed the pill in my mouth, I heard the shower turn off. I quickly hid the bottle back in the bag as I hastily returned to the bed. Ace stepped out of thteshower with a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair dripping wet. He glanced at me and was about to say something when his phone began ringing. "Yes?" he asked. The person on the other line said something then Ace let out a huff as his jaw clenched. "I'm on my way," he replied then ended the call. Prior to him coming out, I had laid down some clothes for him to wear and he eyed it. "I put some clothes down for you. Since it's the first time I'll be awake this early," I murmured, pointing at the cloth. "So you want to start acting like a wife, huh?" he teased as he put on the cloth. NATALIE'S POV "Alright, bye," I said, hugging them tightly. They pulled away and waved at me as they climbed into the plane. "Oh, and, Nat, please don't 'fill me up, Ace,' while you're representing our company, okay?" Amelia teased. I gave her a middle finger then watched the plane leave. Turning back to go to the car, I felt a tear slid down my face and I quickly wiped it off. "Teddy, please take me to any electronically shop nearby. I need to get a charger," I told the driver. The driver grunted then began driving the car. As we passed through the streets, I couldn't help but admire New York. It looked so much prettier at night. "Here, Ma'am," Teddy said, stopping in front of a shop. I smiled at him then stepped out of the car. NATALIE'S POV "Morning, Ace!" Ava said, coming to hug Ace from behind. Just as she was about to reach him I pulled him closer to me and wrapped my hands around his waist. "Morning, Ava," he replied, a small smirk playing around on his face. Ava glared at me and scoffed then placed her sugar sweet smile on her face again. "Are you leaving for work already? I was just about to prepare breakfast for you," she said. I caught the silhouette of someone moving swiftly beside us and I turned my face to look at the person. Jayden. NATALIE'S POV "Stop staring at me, Natalie. And wipe the side of your mouth. They're still waiting for your greeting," Ace whispered to my ear, a smug smile playing on his lips. I cleared my throat and wiped my hands across my lips, hoping to wipe off some drool but there was nothing there. I pinched Ace's arm then turned back to the wolves. "Thank you. You may arise," I told them and they all rose up. Ace gave me his hand to hold and walked me to a throne in front of the room. Sitting down on it, I still couldn't help but steal glances at Ace. Ace threw me a nonchalant glance then shrugged, facing his screen. I sighed and went to stand in front of him. "I am so not feeling this. People are meant to relax on weekends. NATALIE'S POV "Is this like a bad habit I don't know about or what?" I asked as I glared at the paper crumpled up in my hand. Shrugging, Ace strode to the bed and sat on it. "I'm pretty sure I remember seeing this exact card on your desk but I didn't have the time to check it out. You really do enjoy seeing me run about like a mad woman, don't you?" The rest of them were trying to stifle their laughter and I glared at them. "Charming Natalie DeLuca? More like charming Natalie DeAlien," Ava taunted, laughing. Ace and the rest burst out into laughter and if not for my face being green, I would have blushed! "Ace, what have you done?" Sophia asked, wheezing. Ace cleared his throat and glanced at me, the amusement clearly written all over his face. "I just wanted to offer you people free comedy," he said. "At my expense?" "Of course! You know you deserve it after yesterday," he replied. And by yesterday, he meant the story of how we met. 'I'm glad I don't have a face like yours or a mouth as big as yours. Sheesh!'
