CHAPTER FIVE

NATALIE'S POV

"Can I ask you for a favor?" I asked him as his mouth attacked my chest. He raised his head up and raised a brow as if asking me to go on. "Will you link me up with one of your business associates?"

"Why, gattina?" he asked, a storm slowly brewing in his dark eyes. I understood what was going on in his head and I scowled, using my hand to hit him on the chest.

"You corrupt minded buffoon!" I said, scowling. His eyes widened as my hand came in contact with his chest and I gasped. "Oh my God, sorry, Alpha Ace," I apologized, hurriedly sliding off of him and onto my own side of the seat. He held my wrists with one hand and the other pressed my jaw.

"How many times have I told you not to call me Alpha? My name is Ace," he warned. He crushed his lips against mine, kissing the sense out of me. Pulling away, he smirked, then asked, "Now why do you want to be linked to any of my business associates?"

I shook my head as I tried to shake away the effects of the kiss. "Uhm, my business needs an investor and I was hoping maybe one of your associates might want to invest."

"You could've asked your husband, gattina. Or you didn't know that your husband is a businessman too?" he asked, wrapping his hands tightly around my waist. I tried to wiggle out of his hold but he was too strong.

"Really? I didn't know," I replied. He chuckled and looked out the window.

"Sure. Besides, you wouldn't be able to handle the kind of people I work with," he said. "Because you're my wife doesn't mean I'll hand it to you on a silver platter. My company is reputed and if you can't wow me with your pitch, then no business deal. I'll be looking forward to seeing you in an office," he added, then flipped me back to my seat and opened the car door. I hadn't even noticed when the car stopped.

I took a deep breath then stepped out of the car. I was about to move to the boot to pick my luggage but Sophia immediately came to my side, stopping me.

"They'll carry it," she said, pointing to some men carrying the bags. "Let's go, sister in law!" she teased, grinning at me. I gagged at the name.

"Ew! Please, just call me Nat," I told her. Sophia chuckled then dragged me off into the plane. On our way to our seat, we passed Ace who had his eyes trained firmly on his phone. He already had a cup of coffee set beside him.

"Ace, I'm sorry but I might have to steal your wife through the plane ride," Sophia said, giggling and winking at Ace who barely batted his eyelashes at her. I rolled my eyes at her as she reminded me of Chloe and Amelia.

"Welcome, passengers. We'll take five to seven hours before we reach our destination. Please strap on your seat belts and make sure to enjoy the ride," the pilot's voice said. I smiled as I glanced outside the airplane. Sophia held 9nto my hand, forcing me to face her.

"So, do you like my brother?" she asked me. I pursed my lips as I glanced at the man in question.

"Not. At. All!" I replied, narrowing my eyes at Ace. Sophia burst out laughing which brought some attention to us.

"From what I can see, that's gonna change soon," she said. "Anyways, go change out of this dress. It must be heavy. The room is over there." she said, pointing at a door at the back. I nodded at her then stood up as I walked to the room.

Stepping inside, I noticed that a fresh pair of clothes were already waiting for me on the bed. I quickly stripped and wore the Jean and crop top then came out of the room. As I stepped out, I noticed that an air hostess was serving Ace and trying to flirt with him. Scoffing, I moved back to my seat with Sophia while keeping my eyes firmly trained on the air hostess.

"Seems like someone's jealous," Sophia teased. I rolled my eyes and replied her,

"Jealous is too heavy a word to describe it."

The air hostess returned to Ace and served him another drink. In the process of doing so, I noticed her hand brushing against his dick and her making sure her breasts popped out. I gagged. Ace shifted back from the woman and I could see the annoyed look on his face. He was about to say something but he must've felt my gaze as he turned around and caught me staring, looking displeased. Ace smirked.

"Wife, come here," he said, gently, beckoning to me. I narrowed my eyes at him but did as he said anyway. The air hostess had a shocked look on her face and when I reached, Ace wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me into his lap, pressing his lips firmly on mine. I placed my hands on his chest as I gasped in shock, giving his tongue entrance into my mouth. By the time he pulled away, the air hostess was red in the face and Sophia was giving me 'those' eyes. I hid my face in Ace's chest.

"May I leave now, sir?" the air hostess squeaked. Ace raised his hand to wave her off and that was when I noticed it. That was when I noticed his tattooed hands. I am a sucker for strong, veiny hands and then adding tattoos!? You might as well murder me. I quickly stood up from Ace's lap and was about to go back to Sophia but I noticed someone was already sitting with her which meant—

"Seems like Soph already has company. You can sit with me. I won't bite," Ace said, smirking. I bit the inside of my mouth then sat beside him. After a few minutes, I got bored and decided to pick up my phone to read an ebook. I scrolled through my catalog of books then finally settled on one that caught my eye. It was erotica. One of my favorite genres.

I began scrolling through the book, reading it, blushing in some parts and sometimes, I would turn off my phone for a while to either fantasize about me being the female lead or to calm down a bit from the amount of embarrassing moments. I didn't even know when my eyes drooped and I slept off.

Waking up, the first thing I saw was Ace scrolling through my phone. More specifically, him scrolling through the book I was reading. I immediately snatched the phone away from him and he glanced at me surprised.

"You're awake? I was going to wake you when we landed!" Ace said. I forced a smile then ran my hands across my face. Using my phone as a mirror, I groaned. I looked homeless. I ran my hands through my hair then put it in a low ponytail. I opened my messages app to see if Amelia, Rachel and Chloe had replied to the last message I had sent. They had. And the message was opened. I didn't open it. I glanced at Ace but he wasn't looking at me.

Me: bro, I'd love to be wasted like this! (attached with a screen shot of book I was reading)

Amelia: yess! Like, tie me up, daddy!

Chloe: gag me, zaddy!

Rachel: I feel like the only one with a pure mind.

Chloe: you're just realizing that, love?

I groaned and sank into my seat at the thought of Ace reading the messages.

"Oh, the fucking horror," I muttered. Ace glanced at me with a raised brow but I refused to meet his eyes.

"We will be landing in a few minutes. Sit tight!"

And a few minutes later, we landed in New York and we were currently exiting the plan. My feet connecting with concrete, I twirled around and yelled.

"Hola, New York! It's been a while!"

"You're crazy," Sophia said.

"You've been here before?" Ace asked, frowning.

"Yeah. But this time it's gonna be different," I replied.

"Why?"

"Because this time, I'm married," I said, flatly.
