Chapter sixty nine

Amanda’s eyes flickered as she groaned lightly. Her head was banging heavily as it felt as though there was a weight on it.

She blinked her eyes severally and that was when it dawned on her that she was currently in a dark room where she could barely see a thing in it.

Her eyes shot open that instant as everything that happened the past day started slipping into her memory. She remembered going over to the strange room in a bid to discover information and then finally getting hit on the head and becoming unconscious.

“What the hell!” She muttered as she gasped and started breathing heavily. She looked around at intervals as the hairs on her skin shot up in fear.

If there was one thing she feared direly, it was getting trapped in a room without light. She tried to lift her hands and that was when she realized that she was bound in chains.

The same went for legs and at that point, she needed no one to tell her that she was being held hostage.

But by who?
