Chapter 87.

I looked out the car window watching as buildings and people ran past in a blur, I took my time to appreciate the views. I'd never had that chance as I was always in a rush looking for how to get on the next bus and get to work on time.

It fascinated me to be by the window of an expensive car, not bothered about what time I'd get to work. I had woken up extra early that morning even due to the eagerness to start a new day as a model with a brand. My perspective of things had changed over those past few days and I no longer felt miserable and poor.

The intercom crackled and my driver's hoarse voice called out, "We've reached the office ma'am." I blinked quickly as I looked out my window again, I had been so lost in thought that I hadn't realized that the car had stopped moving. Soon after, the car door popped open and I saw the driver standing behind it, I gave him warm smile before picking up my purse and getting out of the car.
