Water.

That was the first thing I heard when I woke up. Although I didn't open my eyes, I could feel the water around me. The soft waves. It was refreshing. It has been a while since I felt this way. It wasn't something deep but it still made me feel very good. My eyes were still shut tightly as I breathed out deeply. For a minute, I managed to follow the rhythm of the waves.

When I finally opened my eyes, I shut them back almost immediately. I had expected sunlight to shine through the blinds but instead, it was a cool breeze. The sun hasn't risen properly and a smile formed on my face. I shifted on the bed, turning around to look at Myra. She lay beside me, her mouth slightly open as she was still fast asleep. When I turned to my second side, Bella was there, but instead of her eyes closed, she stared back at him, eyes blank.
