Chapter 111

KEITH POV

I drove around aimlessly, trying to think of where Jenna could have gone. My mind was a storm of anxiety and regret. How had things spiraled so far out of control?

Eventually, I parked the car in a quiet spot and pulled out my phone. I had to try calling her again, even if she wouldn't answer.

My fingers trembled as I dialed her number, praying she would pick up. The phone rang and rang, but there was no answer.

Frustrated and helpless, I decided to call Richard. He answered on the second ring.

"Keith? Did you find her?"

"No," I replied, my voice strained. "She left the hospital. Do you have any idea where she might go?"

Richard was silent for a moment. "Not at all, Keith. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if she returns on her own."

"Wait and see?" I snapped. "We can't just sit around while she's out there suffering."

"Keith, calm down," Richard urged. "I understand you're worried, but we need to think logically. She might need some space right now."
