Auden's POV

"Love! Look!" Adie excitedly call for me as she motioned her hands. She's always been cheerful evertime she's with me, but this time, it's different. Her eyes are sparkling, she's never been excited like this before.

Iniwan ko ang librong binabasa ko at saka lumapit sa kaniya. She's sitting on her study area and facing her laptop. I leaned down a bit to see what she is showing me. I can see in my peripheral vision that she's looking at me, probably reading my expression.

"Love! I got an offer! Omg! This is the best day ever!" masayang-masaya niyang sabi, ipinulupot niya ang braso niya sa leeg ko at saka yumakap. Humiwalay rin siya kaagad at biglang nanahimik. Umayos ako ng tayo nang tignan niya ako, halos maging isang guhit na lang ang kilay niya sa sobrang dikit nito. "Hindi ka ba masaya para sa akin? I got an offer as a model in States, we should be celebrating this, right? What's with that face?" she asked, referring to my face, poker
