My apology that I need to take a break yesterday, I hope this longer chapter will be suffice ^^v xoXO
The man named Crocus never extended his hand for me to shakes, he just staring at me and I can see the obvious ickiness that he displayed towards me, “Yes, charming…” He said to me with a very bored face, “Well I came here to give you an invitation from the pack council, they wanted to meet with these… human girl, who possess the strongest Luna heart.” Aaron was furious. He shouted at this Cockroach… I mean Crocus with a slight intimidation, “Council meeting? What for? They don’t have the right to…” Crocus, on the other hand, just raised his right hand. One of his eyes is twitching, probably unimpressed by Aaron’s dominant behavior. “Before you said something that you will regret later in, I suggest that you silence yourself, Alpha Aaron.” He turns his gaze to me and looks into me in every direction. “You… You’re not a purely human, aren’t you?” “Err… excuse me?” I asked him, while my eyes goes to Acacia, I need her help, and thankfully she realize it immediately. “Oh, the messenge
“What are you doing here?! Are you making love in a public place?!” Crocus was looking at me and Elm with a such a distasteful on his voice, and for me, I was ghastly appalled by his making love term, you can just call it s*x, Cockroach! Elm was grinning. I can see my liquid still glistening on his hand. He didn’t even try to wash or wipe it properly. “Well, I don’t see people around here, and besides, we are inside of the pavilion.” “There’s no wall around, and people could still see the two of you!” Crocus was so mad, I can see a vein popping out from his forehead. “Seriously, Alpha Elm, I have expected a good manner from the Volken family, and this is how you acted? Like a common wolf with his b*tch.” The last word almost makes me go to him and slap his foul mouth, but turned out Elm, Zephyr, and Aaron already went to Crocus and growling at him. They are so mad at Crocus; they begin to intimidate and surrounding the messenger. “Take your words back, Crocus, I don’t care whatever
“Okay, what does he want now?” I asked Aaron with a sigh, this Crocus fellow already getting into my nerves. Aaron gave me a look and smile, he kiss my cheek and said, “He wanted to say an apology to you, that’s it.” I turn my head to him. With a suspicious look, I asked Aaron again, “Are you sure? The last time he saw me, he doesn’t seem like a friendly fellow guy towards a human.” “Oh, believe me, he will be respectful to you… don’t worry.” Said Zephyr from the other side of the room. With another sighed I just rolled with it and said alright, I couldn’t careless if he tried to do another insulting the human stunt, but I don’t want the three of them become the target of this pack council. At least I will meet him in the morning, as for now, I just want to take a chill time with my new… mates. Zephyr already lit the fireplace, and we gathered around with a cup of hot cocoa on our hand, I must say they have a good cacao beans here. I asked Zephyr where I could buy their own cacao
“But, that’s impossible. I mean, surely there were other Alphas or even Lunas that got married to a human!” I tried to protest his somewhat demeaning explanation, and once again, I felt a very threatening aura from behind me. Crocus looks a bit stiff, and he tried to rephrase his words, “No, no, miss, I meant not to be rude to you, absolutely not.” He was smiling, but of course I know that he was just terrified by three alphas, think he got threatened by Zephyr and Aaron last night as well. “You’re a very-very rare case. For a hundred years, alphas prefer to mate with luna and omega only, not ever consider any human, and we never know why, but you came, and it’s become something unexpected.” I must say, so amusing to hear how Crocus tried so hard to censor his words. I smile and shake my head. “I guess I really need to meet with the pack council soon then?” “Yes, of course, it would be an honor, miss Hunt.” Crocus nervously smiles at me. I guess the three of them were glaring at him
“How long till we arrive again?” I tried to ask Aaron, who was sitting right next to me. He put his smartphone down and look at me straight in the eyes. “You know, you’re asking the same question, like an one hour ago.” He said to me with some obvious annoyance in his expression. “You seem bored.” Said Zephyr, who sits in front of me. “Yes, and I don’t want to go and take a nap. I’m not tired." I grunted at them while I look into the window. Aaron approached my face and teased me. “Why not? I thought Cat loves to take a nap.” “Well, not this Cat.” I said to him while my hand push him away. “Oh, but this Cat loves to purr though, already confirmed.” Said Elm from the other seat next to Zephyr. I look at him and he winked at me. “Oh, kitty Cat, I would love to hear you purr when I am on top of you.” Whispered Aaron. I was chuckling, but Zephyr immediately stopping our sexy banter. “The three of you stop!” He said to us with a gruntled in his voice, “Please just mind of everyone
The twenty hour plus journey to get back home already make my bones cracking all over the place. We are now heading back to the hideout, although calling it a hideout seems like a futile attempt. Bernard told me that besides the enemy pack, most of the neutral packs knew about this hideout. “Then how come all of you call it a hideout? It’s not a very hidden, though.” I said to Bernard while shaking my head because of how ridiculous this situation was. Until Bernard said something that I couldn’t even consider as a human, but normal for them the mystic blood, “It was an enchanted hideout, missus.” When I saw him, Bernard was smiling, but not like he was mocking me, more like he understands my position as a human who just knows everything by now. “As the pack of werewolves, we have our eat of rules, including two packs that are at a war with each other. The other needs to be a neutral party unless the circumstances rise.” “Wow, Bernard, you really memorized all of that sh*t?!” I look
“My grandfather? Predicting my future?” It as surprised me as I can be. This is quite news for me. I never even thought about my mother's side of the family. He never talks about it that much, and as time goes by, I kind of forget them altogether. Gramps looking at me like he tried so hard not to be sad about it. “Your mother leave her family because of your father. They fall in love as soon as they laid eyes on each other back then. Your father is always joking about how proud he was to get your mother, since she was the beauty of the school.” “Wait, I thought dad was a geek? He was the captain of the st*r wars club.” I kept some of this memorabilia, and I do admit, he was a geek, wearing st*r wars t-shirt all the time, and talk about his favorite Jedi and how D*rth Vader is just some misunderstanding villain. “I remember mom just smiling whenever he got geek out over the new merchandise of st*r wars, and even already plan to camp out with his friend to get the merchandise before a
They held the barbecue party on the lush garden with a basketball and tennis field. Zephyr was talking with someone on his cellphone, while Elm had a colorful conversation with the teams. Look around, I could also see a track field on the side. Aaron told me this is their training yard. “You can also do some morning jog on those mountain tracks.” Said Aaron while pointing at a small asphalt road with trees surrounding it. He was in the middle of grilling some corn and meat skewers. “That is so freaking beautiful,” I got excited all of a sudden, “I’m going to take a jog in the morning. I feel a bit out of breath lately.” “What’s your daily run?” He asked me with his face concentrate on the task at hand. “Four or five miles? How about you?” With a sense of proud I tell him about my daily run routine. He chuckles and looks at me. “Ten, with a little hike sometimes.” Gasping, I smack on his arm, “No way, you’re trying to upping me, right?!” “Nope, the honest truth.” He said and then
