Chapter 25 – Claire Miller

Simone and Emmett sat down with Vince the night before and told him she had confided in Emmett about what had happened. He had already figured. He had told Tiffany about the incident in college when they first started dating. She chose the tattoo that had covered the scar.

Since Emmett was heading to work; Tiffany thought it would be a great idea for Vince and her to take Simone out for coffee; or hot chocolate in Simone’s case.

“I’m fine. Instead of having only three people who knows who I am; I have seven” Simone states as her two friends drag her from the house. They had to tell Jason; he questioned how Leona got into the car and Simone had got out of the car.

“We just can’t have you sitting around being the trophy wife” Tiffany injects as the trio get into the car and head to their favourite café.

“And since you are the wife of Drake Spencer; you can pay” Vince chuckles looking at the two ladies in the rear-view mirror. Simone promptly pokes her tongue out at him.
