Chapter 30 – Exclusive Interview

After the car accident; Emmett stayed at home to look after Simone. She was starting to feel better and was looking forward to having a little boy or girl around the place. “Are you going back to work today?” she asks, coming into the kitchen. Her arm was on the mend, but she needed to keep it in the sling for another 4 weeks.

“Yes, I am” Emmett says, putting his arms around his wife, handing her two pieces of toast. After his last attempt to make her breakfast; he decided to learn how to cook. At least something as basic as toast. “What will you do without me?”
