Chapter 158

After changing clothes, Shane tucked in the corner of the blanket for Haley. He skipped breakfast and directly instructed the driver to go to the hospital. The driver nodded in acknowledgment, started the engine, and drove towards the hospital.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Shane went straight to Stella's ward. Stella was sitting on the hospital bed having breakfast. When she saw Shane, her eyes instantly lit up. She could not wait to pull back the covers and get out of bed.

"Shane, you finally came to see me! I've been getting moldy here. Can you help me get discharged?" Her tone was so affectionate, as if they were very close.

Shane furrowed his brows, avoiding Stella's outstretched hand, and cut to the chase. "Did you say anything to Haley yesterday?"

Stella's smile stiffened for a moment, then quickly returned to normal. She blinked her beautiful and innocent eyes, smiling and shaking her head. "No, Shane, did you misunderstand something? Did Haley tell you something?"
