In the moonlight

So instead, I keep watching him, mesmerized by his beauty. The moonlight glows softly outside my window casting an ethereal glow on his skin and making his dark brown curls shine in contrast.

His lips are slightly parted as he breathes evenly. I reach out my hand and brush some strands of hair away from his face.

I lean down to place a feather light kiss on the tip of his nose before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep as well.

The next morning, we finally end up staying the night.

When I woke up, I was surprised to discover that I wasn't alone.

"Mmm…where did you go last night? You left really early." I mumble sleepily.

Ezra chuckles slightly and rolls over on his side to face me.

"Oh, yeah." He says, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he sits up.

"Where'd you go? Didn't you wanna tell me where you went?" I ask, sitting up as well.

"Yeah, I did. But I had to take care of something first."
