"How can that be?" She poked her eyes out of her head and asked.

"I'm so sorry," I told her, but she couldn't hear me because I was scared, confused, and feeling stupid at the time. The door was smashed open, and Laura came in holding a plate of food and looking at both of us. She put the food on the table and ran over to me quickly. "What in the hell did you do to her this time?" She barked at her, startling me. She looked at me and asked, "Did she hurt you again?"

Alpha didn't mind that you didn't leave the house. But you have been told not to go near Sofiya. You can't cross this wing, either. Your meals will be served in your room. I was dragged out of the room by Laura.
