The banquet had reached its later stages, and everything had settled. Grace had not done anything; she quietly sat in the audience, playing the role of a dutiful high-society lady.

Emily was a bit disappointed. She thought Grace would at least do something. Had she really just accepted it like this?

This wasn't like her.

"Olivia, I'm going to the restroom."

Olivia nodded. "Do you need me to go with you?"

"No," Emily replied. "I can manage on my own."

Olivia cautioned her, "Be careful; there are a lot of people today."

"Alright."

Emily headed towards the restroom.

There weren't as many people as she had expected.

While washing her hands, she saw a familiar purple figure in the mirror.

She smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Do you have something to say to me?"

Grace had already locked the restroom door behind her and stood before Emily. "Emily, is this really necessary? Mutual destruction is the worst outcome."

"What are you planning to do to me? I'm listening."
