"How have you been, Abi?" I asked.

Actually, I was really ready to face her anger. If she would be rude to me, it would absolutely be okay and I would accept it without getting mad. After all, I deserved getting the subject of their anger because of what I did to them years back.

But instead of rolling her eyes and ignoring me, like what I expected, she actually did the opposite. She smiled a little but it was genuine and there wasn't any hint of sarcasm. "I've been doing great, Camila. How about you? How are you? Wow! I didn't expect I would see you here today! It has been such a while since the last time I, I mean we, saw you."

I wasn't able to speak at first or comprehend because I was trying to sink it into my mind. She didn't get angry. She was actually nice and she didn't seem to have any kind of bad blood on me.
