“Jay!” I called him when he was about to walk out of the door.

He immediately turned around with shock covering his face making me realize that it is the first time I am calling him by his name.

“What is it?” he asked clearing his throat.

“I need to go one hour early today.” I replied and he nodded.

“I will come early.” He stated and we both stood there in silence.

“Lakshmi must be wondering about me.” I said, gesturing my hand to her room.

“I must go too.” He said and at once we both turned around before walking away in our directions.
