03. Marriage and Agreement

3rd Point of View

“Did she just kiss my neck?” Isaac questioned the alpha wolf within him. He couldn’t believe this was happening, the omega had the audacity to kiss his neck.

However, the kiss felt fleeting, like a dragonfly landing and departing in the next moment, leaving an itching sensation on his neck.

Her small, warm body pulled away, but Isaac pulled her back, wrapping his arms around her slender waist. He held Raquel in place, unwilling to let her go.

The scent of roses filled his senses, presenting its own temptation. When they first met, he knew the omega had an intriguing scent, but Isaac didn’t expect it to match his preferences so perfectly. It was as if a void within him was slowly being filled, and he wanted to imprison it tightly. Not a single strand of hair should escape that confinement.

Isaac never anticipated feeling real temptation from someone.

After greedily inhaling the rose-scented neck, he distanced himself, gazing into those beautiful black eyes with traces of fear. Even the body in his embrace trembled slightly, yet it neither protested nor resisted.

It was evident that this omega was trying hard to remain calm and comply with his desires.

Soft laughter and low growls escaped his lips. Isaac knew his reputation was tarnished out there. This omega was no different from most who feared him and deemed him a monster.

If in the past, Isaac with his negative personality would easily get angry and offended when someone looked at him like that. However, when he looked into those clear eyes radiating purity, he felt no anger at all.

In fact, a slight tickle in his heart made him want to tease and taunt this omega continuously.

“Aren’t you afraid of me?” he asked in a husky voice.

Raquel looked a bit flustered, avoiding his gaze and slowly moving her lips, answering, “Afraid... I am afraid.”

Laughing, Isaac observed the innocent-looking face. Clear eyes with long eyelashes, a petite and straight nose, and... moist red lips.

Omegas naturally possessed a beauty surpassing the ordinary. It was unique and enchanting.

The more he looked, the stronger the desire to taste. Isaac kissed Raquel’s red lips, savoring the moist and supple sweetness. He liked it very much.

The kiss, born out of curiosity, was not short-lived. The temptation was palpable, making Isaac crave more. He extended his tongue, first licking those red lips, then intruding and exploring Raquel’s row of teeth.

With tightly closed eyes, Raquel could feel Isaac’s tongue invasion. Their pheromones mingled, tempting each other, taking over their sanity.

The low growl of the man sounded impatient, his negative traits slowly emerging. The desire to dominate, possessiveness, and smoldering passion.

He wanted this omega, thirsty for a sense of ownership, and hungry for her body. The arms around Raquel’s waist tightened to the point of causing pain, but the complaint was muffled by their intense kiss.

Isaac began to lose his patience and acted aggressively. What he never expected was Raquel daring to bite his tongue. He pushed her small body away, almost causing her to stumble to the ground.

The pain forced Isaac to snap out of it. His rapid breath gradually calmed, his red eyes returning to their normal state. He stared at Raquel with a flushed face, her partially softened form before him. Complex feelings crossed his eyes.

"S-sorry..." Raquel said softly.

Not wanting to address the issue, Isaac took a step towards the girl.

Raquel lowered her head in fear, twisting the edge of her clothes with trembling hands. Isaac must be furious. In her heart, Raquel contemplated the last words she wanted to say before facing death.

However, the man simply passed her and said, "Go back to the group to continue the journey."

After a momentary pause, Raquel replied foolishly, "Um...."

The group continued their journey to the Dark Abyss Pack that night and arrived by morning. After a brief rest, Raquel and Isaac were summoned by Elder Kingston.

Walking ahead, he unconsciously looked for Raquel's presence. Seeing her a few steps behind, Isaac slowed his pace. When standing near the omega, he said, "Walk with me."

Responding with a murmur, Raquel followed Isaac as they walked side by side. However, their temperaments appeared vastly different and conflicting.

As the strongest alpha in the Kingston family, Isaac had undoubtedly cultivated arrogance and confidence in every action.

While Raquel lacked both, having been belittled throughout her life in the Welch family after her mother's death. Naturally lacking confidence and certainly lacking the arrogance of a future mate to the strongest alpha. She only felt inferior and fearful.

Like a summer breeze, Isaac's voice reassured her. "You are my wife, Isaac Kingston. Lift your chin and never demean yourself in front of anyone other than me!"

Initially surprised, Raquel quickly nodded. She slowly raised her chin, facing every curious gaze along the way to Elder Kingston's location.

--

"Welcome home, Isaac!"

The cheerful voice welcomed as the door opened, and a young girl ran up, enthusiastically hugging Isaac before realizing Raquel's presence.

"Oh, sorry, sister-in-law," the girl said again. She was Murphy, Isaac's younger cousin.

Raquel just smiled faintly and nodded.

Shortly after, Elder Kingston's voice was heard from inside the room. "Murphy, don't disturb your cousin, go play!"

"But, grandpa, I miss Isaac," Murphy pouted, looking cute.

Elder Kingston remained unfazed and tolerant, only asking Murphy to leave due to their important discussion. In the end, Murphy had to give in and leave.

Gazing at the two in turn, Elder Kingston said, "Sit. Let's talk about your issues."

Following Elder Kingston's words, Isaac and Raquel sat on the opposite sofa.

"What's your name?" Elder Kingston asked. The omega in front of him differed from the information he had gathered after a brief investigation.

With a hint of fear in her heart, Raquel answered, "My name is... Raquel Welch."

Hearing that, Elder Kingston showed a complicated look. He was quite old, how could he not know what really happened?

However, seeing no change in his grandson's expression, Elder Kingston could only swallow his dissatisfaction.

"Do you know why you're here, right?" Elder Kingston asked again.

Raquel nodded. To marry and bear children. That was her purpose here.

Elder Kingston took a deep breath. "As long as you can bear successors for the Kingston family, your life will be safe and comfortable. You will become Mrs. Kingston and live the life you want. But if not...."

Elder Kingston's words were unfinished, Isaac made a move, accidentally dropping his cup. He apologized in a low voice, "I'm sorry, grandpa."

As the only person who had truly paid attention to Isaac since childhood, Elder Kingston understood his grandson well. Isaac was very careful and measured, how to explain when he acted clumsily?

Elder Kingston was helpless and didn't dwell on it any longer. He only emphasized another matter. "Tonight is the night of the full moon."

No further explanation was needed, they understood what it meant.

The conversation didn't last long, and Elder Kingston asked them to leave.

On the way back to their residence, Isaac stopped near the nearest forest. He looked at the omega's face and asked reluctantly, "Do you want to continue this relationship?"
