Persephone woke up smiling.

Oh yes, the happy giddy smile that made everyone wonder what was wrong with her. Hades had an idea but he did not dare say it, partly because he did not want to hear her rambling about the boy and Cleon, well Cleon was glad of the change so let her be excited.

Charilaus seemed to fear for his safety. "You did what?"

She smiled sweetly, setting the tray on his study table. "I made you breakfast."

As she did so and walked back to the seat infront of him, her face in a purely innocent look, she crossed her legs and stared at an awestruck Charilaus who replied,"For me?"

Persephone chuckled. "Oh, come off it Father. You are the only one I would willingly do anything for."

Charilaus stared at the tray, then at her before moving it away, "No, thank you."

Her eyes flashed a sort of angry look but it disappeared before he saw it. "Why not?"

"I am not hungry."
