Danny POV

Davin was explaining all the in’s and out’s on how werewolf packs work but I had had one more major burning question. “Where do I fit in?” I asked.

Davin grew serious and I could tell this was a topic on his mind. “That is something we need to figure out and soon.” He said lightly but I could tell there was a sliver of worry in his voice. But he soothed over with, “Danalee I have promised that I will never leave you. I will be with you every step of the way. Do you trust me?”

I looked at him, “You know that I do, but I also feel like there are things you haven’t told me yet. And that you are worried. You have to trust in me too.”

He smiled at me, “That’s why I love you.” He kissed my forehead and led me back to the large building that he told me was called a “Pack House, where unmated members of the Pack and visitors would stay. It was also where the Alpha and Beta families lived and Pack business was conducted.”
