She was clearly confused when Nolan came in prepared to draw her blood. I was an emotional idiot getting caught up in things and making mistakes. I let out a chagrinned chuckle and said, “I was so concerned about the bigger things I forgot to tell her we can mind link.”

I explained how mind linking worked as Nolan took her blood. She looked exhausted and it was getting late. I spoke with Brad again and we came up with a plan.
