"Hey!" he roared, attempting to get closer to me. "Calm down, I just want to talk!"

With eyes blazing, I raised another heavy book ready to hurl it at his face, not caring at all how much damage it might cause. However, he was much quicker.

He grabbed my wrists, preventing any movement.

"Then why do you sneak in like a thief?"

"I thought you were asleep, I didn't want to wake you..." he whispered, slowly releasing his grip, hoping I wouldn't hit him for the umpteenth time.

I scrutinized him suspiciously from head to toe, as the crooked smile on his face hid something that his eyes confirmed when they momentarily avoided mine.

"Jack," I crossed my arms.

"Alright, I just wanted to be with you for a while, I wanted to sleep beside you, okay?"

"Leave, Jack," I grumbled, pointing to the door with one of my fingers, hoping he wouldn't resist or I'd have to literally kick him out.
