Ever since we had sex, I have made every effort to stay away from Alpha Kane. But I suppose that wasn't good enough.

Two days have passed. To avoid running into him, I made an effort to remain in my room. He sent the maid to check on me after growing concerned about me. I had to lie and say that I wasn't feeling well, but it wasn't totally true because my body was still experiencing fatigue and stress from the previous two days; moreover, the major reason I was hiding in my room was to avoid him.
