Chelsey felt irritated at the sight of Shannon, especially with the latter appearing to have the game in her pocket.

Shannon looked proud and triumphant.

"I'm here. What do you want to say? Spit it." Chelsey didn't have the patience to dine with Shannon. The mere presence of Shannon made her lose her appetite.

Smiling faintly, Shannon gracefully poured tea from the teapot.

"I suppose you're thirsty. Have some tea first."

Chelsey took a seat across from Shannon. Seeing that Shannon's hand had already recovered, she couldn't resist giving a sarcastic remark. "Your hand healed quite quickly. If it had taken longer, Lucas might have broken my hand."

Shannon looked up, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at Chelsey. "You really don't know."

"Know what?" Chelsey frowned. She hated being kept in suspense.

She preferred people to say everything at once rather than drag things out.

Shannon smiled. "Let's talk over our meal."

As she said that, she picked up a fork.
