Chelsey thought of saying some things herself, seeing how enthusiastic Sandra was. She caressed her stomach and said, "You must be devoted to your relationships in the future, baby. Don't be an ass like Lucas, fooling around when he was already in a marriage."

"Has Lucas contacted you recently?" Sandra asked.

"No."

Chelsey hadn't been to the hospital either, given she was busy with her designs. Josie did call her a couple of times, but Chelsey only told her she had a job now and didn't have spare time to visit.

Josie didn't comment much and just told Chelsey to take care of her health and not overwork herself. She didn't mention Lucas.

Sandra grumbled, "Maybe Lucas is getting it on with that lover of his. He doesn't have much to worry about now that he's divorced. They're definitely coupling together now every single day."

"Yeah." Chelsey's heart felt desolate and empty.

She could face Lucas and Shannon's relationship head-on now. Shannon could return to Lucas' side whenever she
