It was a strange feeling that his words moved my heart. Even though it was all because of the baby or his vengeance for me, I couldn't stop myself from feeling warm.

The pack members were dismissed. When the evening came down, I felt the urge to eat my favorite pantry. Too bad, I couldn't go out of the house unless Seth gave his permission. But I wanted to act boldly and decided to ask for permission.

Seth was instructing the guards when I appeared behind him. He smelt me even before I could make a noise,

" You shouldn't be here in this cold wind, little trouble. You may catch a cold."

He said something to the guards and then turned around to face them. I replied with a smile, trying to act innocently in front of him,

" Are you worried about me?"

It was such a silly question but things between us weren't awkward anymore. He let out a scoff, looking away from my face,

" Don't be ridiculous. I am just concerned about my baby."
