I bit my lips together so hard that it was almost bleeding!

I never thought that I would ever hate myself for my stubbornness. Whenever I looked at the fresh cuts and bruises on Alessio's body, I felt guilty. Perhaps I should have just stayed in the pack house. I asked Alessio countless times for what reason the guy tried to kill me, but Alessio refused to answer. I could only sit back as he delivered me to the devil's den.

The outdoors of Alpha's offices shocked me. The whole surroundings were filled with black armed men and guards, the atmosphere giving off a heavy feeling. I almost shivered when Alessio dropped me in the doorway of Seth.

I entered swiftly, his husky voice filling the room,

" Yeah, she is fine but I don't want it to happen again. Find out who is behind this."
