Complicated

I watched him as he continued to eat his cereal and occasionally throw his spoonfuls of cereal in his mouth, without a care in the world about what kind of mess he might have made.

Every once in a while I would look towards the TV hoping that he would finish eating his cereal so that we could go get breakfast together.

As he was about to finish his bowl, he suddenly stood up and walked past me towards the dining table and put the rest of his bowl in the dishwasher before grabbing mine and placing it in the sink to wash later. I grabbed my bowl from him and walked into the kitchen to start washing up afterwards.
