The new life together

After she went upstairs she went into her bedroom and laid down on the bed, hoping for some sleep. When she closed her eyes she saw herself standing in the middle of the road looking at nothing in particular. She heard footsteps behind her and turned around, seeing a man approaching her.

He was tall and handsome, he wore a suit and tie and looked like he was in the business. His black hair was neatly combed and his pale skin glowed under the bright streetlights.

Suddenly the sound of cars interrupted the silence and her heart started beating faster. She started hearing the footsteps and people screaming but her vision became blurry. Before she passed out she saw the man standing over her, smiling down at her.

As she woke up she realized that the nightmare was only a bad dream. She breathed deeply to try and calm herself down and her hands reached down to rub her belly.
