Conrad's POV

I looked at her intently and when she nodded her head I was shattered into pieces.

I smiled bitterly then looked away suppressing my tears.

I don't want to beg again. I am tired of kneeling in front of her just to make her stay. I am tired of doing everything and then receiving rejection in the end.

"You will keep your promise right? You will keep our child?" I asked then looked her directly in the eyes.

Atasha looked at me intently and then nod her head.

"I will," she said.

I let out a deep breath to calm myself.

"Pack all your things. Don't leave anything. When I came back I hope you are already gone," I said then walked away and stepped out of my unit.

I headed towards the parking lot and after stepping inside my unit the tears that I had been suppressing earlier fell like waterfalls.
