Jillie
I’d just finished getting dressed in my multi-blue maxi dress that tied around the neck. I was sitting on the bed, putting my sandals on, when Kaileeh entered my room.
“Thanks for knocking. I’m glad I have clothes on now,” I stated sarcastically.
“Meaning that you were naked a minute ago? Damn. I hate I missed that,” she responded, causing me to laugh.
“Are you about ready?”
“Yeah, I just have to do my hair.”
“Okay. Sage and Mina just pulled up,” she informed. I nodded before she left out of the door.
JillieWe spent the next three hours in and out of stores. After which we went toSimon’sfor lunch. After being seated in a private section at the back, the waiter took our drink order and walked away. We talked about when we were supposed to get our hair and makeup done for the wedding tomorrow, and I felt a pang of guilt. Sage smiled at me, a reassuring smile, but that did little to ease it. After eating our food, Mom and Elise excused themselves and went to the car. They came back a few minutes later with gift bags in their hands.“Alright, time for the best part,” Elise stated.“I can’t wait to see her fa
Jarren I was shooting pool with Garret, Xander, Rian, Ean, Avan, My dad, Carson, and Mason, even though he wouldn’t attend the wedding tomorrow. It was a little after four, and Avan had brought us all to a sports bar. All the older men were sitting and drinking their beers while I kicked Carson’s ass at the pool.“So Jarren, you ready to have that ball and chain around your neck?” Avan asked. Ean elbowed him in the side.I chuckled. “I don’t think it’ll be that way, and I don’t think you have it that bad. I’ve met Carla.”“Yeah, she puts on a nice act when she’s around all of you, but at home, behind closed doors,
Jarren I was currently getting my hair cut or more like trimmed. I’d been either pacing or threatening to kill someone all day. It wasn’t my fault. Most of it was due to the extra testosterone. Reid had refused to give me my shot until right before the wedding. So I was a bit irritated about anything and at everybody. Xander, of course, thought it was funny, while Garret tried to calm me down. I looked at myself in the mirror as Daniel trimmed my hair. I didn’t see anything wrong with it, to begin with, but my mom insisted on it being cut. He wasn’t even taking that much of it off. Once he was done, I paced the room. I couldn’t help it. The wedding was in three hours. I wasn’t nervous. I was excited. And much like a child on Christmas Day, I didn’t want to wait any longer. I let out a deep breath and sat down. Even though I knew I’d be right back up in a fe
JarrenAfter she shut the door, I got up and got dressed quickly. I was sitting down, putting on my shoes, when the door opened. Carla stuck her head in with her eyes closed.“Are you all dressed?”We laughed. “Yeah, Carla. We’re dressed,” Carson informed her.“Good,” she stated, opening her eyes. “Now, it’s time for the pictures, and then we’ll be ready to get this show on the road.” We followed her out of the room and to where the photographer was taking pictures. Once he arranged us. He snapped multiple pictures. I wanted to strangle him at one point because he was a little too touchy-feely. That wasn’t what bothered me, though I could have done without him touching me. It was the fact that he was wasting time and the wedding was due to start in about five minutes. Carla finally came and rescued us, sendin
JillieThe reception hall was stunning. I hadn’t expected it to turn out this good, but of course, with Aunt Carla on the job, I should have known. It seemed that most people had found their seats while others were talking. Jarren and I spoke to a few people as we walked to the bridal party table.“What took you two so long?” Kaileeh asked, wagging her eyebrows as I sat down beside her.“Not what you think. He can’t do it that fast,” I stated, and Xander fell into laughter. After realizing what I’d said and calculating the number of vampires, werewolves, or other supernatural beings with super hearing, I put my hand over my face and let out a groan. I’d have to filter my mouth more. Jarren pulled my hand from my face and kissed it.“Don’t worry about it.”“Easy for you to say. You didn’t say it.”
Jillie“Alright, now let’s hear from the groom.” Aunt Carla stated. Jarren got up and made his way to the stage.“Wow. After all those speeches, I don’t think I can compete,” Jarren stated once on stage with the microphone. “I have been in love with this young woman since I was fourteen. And today, I stand up here as the happiest man in the world because she’s mine. I’ve thought of this moment since the first time my heart skipped a beat while looking at her. Since the first time, I realized I couldn’t sleep if I hadn’t heard her voice that day. Believe me when I say it freaked me out because you don’t know what’s going on at that age. I know now. It took me a second to realize that I loved her. A minute to work up the nerve to
JillieI woke up to a nauseatingly loud beeping. Rolling over, I covered my head with a pillow, trying to drown out the sound. I didn’t know what time it was, but my body informed me that it was too early to be up. The beeping stopped, only to start up again a minute later and what seemed even louder. I threw the cover off of me and sat up with a loud groan.“I’m up!” I shouted at nothing and no one in particular. I rubbed my hands over my face as the bedroom door opened.“Princess Jilliannah, forgive me. I forgot to set the alarm for a different time. Ambassador Howard was the last to sleep here, and he liked getting up now.”I shook my head, getting out of bed. “It’s fine, Erica.” I stretched and grabbed the toiletry bag, heading into the bathroom. I washed and cleansed my face before brushing my teeth. I headed back into the bedr
Jillie With ten minutes left until the wedding was scheduled, Lexis began to help me into my dress. Kinley, who’d gone back to sleep after getting her hair put in rollers, was woken up so they could be taken out and she could put on her dress.“You look so pretty, Princess,” she stated as Courtney took the rollers out of her hair.“Thank you, sweetie. You look pretty, too.”“Thank you,” she stated with a smile. Once everyone was dressed, I felt the butterflies in my stomach kick into overdrive. I let out a deep, shaky breath and realized that I would start crying at any moment. I hadn’t even been this emotional yesterday walking down the aisle. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself.“Are you ready, Bell Fiore?” Demetri asked, appearing at my side.“Yes.” I stated as “The Moment&rd
