A New Rival and A Friend

"How dare you barge into my room without knocking?" Derek yelled, at the intruder, startling me. I buried my face in his neck embarrassed.

"I'm sorry Derek," the girl who barged in apologized, looking frightened. I wouldn't blame her, I would also be frightened if I were in her shoes.

"I just got to the palace and decided to see you first since it's been a while we saw each other last. I didn't know you would be busy," I could feel her glaring at me heatedly but I didn't have the nerve to look at her. If only Derek had agreed to give me one of his shirt peacefully, I wouldn't have to be in this situation.
